Tobacco Movement Tracking
Monitor every tobacco transfer between departments for full traceability and better resource management.

Tobacco Movement Tracking lets you control how tobacco moves inside the factory – from warehouse to humidification, drying rooms, classification, machine-made lines, and back to storage.
Each factory has its own conveyor templates: predefined flows like:
- Receive Tobacco Purchase Order
- Move Bale to Humidity Room / Receive from Humidity Room
- Move to Drying Shelves / Receive from Drying Shelves
- Move Bale to Classification / Return Box to Classification
- Move Tobacco to New or Existing Container
- Return Tobacco to Warehouse
- Remove Tobacco Container
You decide which conveyors you use and which steps are required for your factory.
Every bale and box has a QR code. When an employee wants to move tobacco, they:
- Scan the QR code with the mobile app.
- Choose where they are moving the tobacco (next conveyor step).
- Fill required fields (for example, new weight after humidification or drying).
Because tobacco is always changing weight, you can force employees to enter a fresh weight at specific steps. This keeps your inventory realistic instead of theoretical.
All movements are stored with:
- Which container was moved
- From where and to where
- Date and time
- Employee who did the movement
- Old and new weight (if required)
- Status (confirmed / pending, rejected, removed, etc.)
In the admin panel, production managers can:
- See a full movement history for each bale or box
- Check who moved what and when
- Detect wrong movements (e.g., moved to the wrong room or department)
- Compare weight changes after humidification or drying
- Control returns to warehouse and removal of containers
- Export data or connect it to reporting (Power BI, etc.)
Result: less “lost” tobacco, fewer manual notes and Excel files, and a clear story for every bale from purchase order to final cigar.
